Well I do agree with the bill that piracy is a huge problem. I mean if you really look at it, it's a small reason why the US economy is as bad as it is, or got as bad as it did quicker. All that revenue that could of been made on US products and stuff isn't there anymore. So in that aspect, yeah fix that. But the whole streaming thing is iffy. People stream themselves playing games or commentate of games themselves. If you look at the Starcraft 2 Community, it relies heavily on streaming tournaments and those ads for revenue. Now that's not copyright infringement, but it will be put to rest if that bill got passed. So I'm half half on that.

The economy has nothing to do with internet piracy... just the greedy fat cats want more money for making a film or producing a song, then people doing the real gritty shit saving lives in a hospital (wolfie) get near to (I CUSSED) all to show for it... America's economy is fucked because of the cost of war and advancing technology. Also over population.

A lot of people who pirate end up buying the product. I'd also like to say consumers are constantly taken advantaged of for the sake of big business. Big business loses a few billion out of a few hundred billion they swindled and the world goes to shit.

White House Petitioned to Investigate MPAA Bribery

The public has started a petition asking the White House to investigate comments made by MPAA CEO Chris Dodd a few days ago on Fox News. Closing a tumultuous week of wide protest against PIPA and SOPA – two MPAA backed anti-piracy bills – Dodd threatened to stop the cash-flow to politicians who dare to take a stand against pro-Hollywood legislation. Clear bribery, the petition claims, and already thousands agree.
